They perform from 5 to 7 piece band, Kiki Sire on lead vocals and percussion, violinist Caroline Owen, keys+ bvs, bass+ bvs, drums/timbales, trumpet + bvs plus congas when 7 piece. Son Tropical are a tight ensemble fusing an infectious Latin beat with charismatic melody lines.
Son Tropical are currently available for festivals, functions, salsa events, weddings, cruise ships, private parties, corporate events, business functions and any occasion that calls for top quality live Latin music.
Kiki sire , percussionist, vocalist and guitarist from Cuba a graduate of the Matanzas School of Musica in 1996 where he studied alongside many great Cuban musicians by day and by night performed in the bars, festivals and clubs of Havana, Vaderdero and Mantanzas. He had the pleasure of performing with many great musicians during this time including Chucho Valdes, Van Van, Yaguarimu and Manolito Y Su trabuco. Kiki is now making his mark on the Latin Scene throughout the UK!
