I know SEO very well. I went from #1 to the 50's for everything. I also do some SEO for a few friends and didn't see a drop for them. My site had a problem with the database and a lot of pages were missing. The penalty occured soon after the database issue was corrected. I'm hoping the penalty is due to the sudden increase of pages and the links to the home page from each. I'd love to hear some of your ideas. This happend recently to my site as well.
